As we approach polling day in the Scot Referendum there is little doubt that Scotland in on the edge of an abyss and reason is out of the window. I suspect this is because of two main factors, extreme nationalism and distrust of politicians. The former is very dangerous as it expels all reason, resorting to a hardened hearts and aims that have to be achieved by intimidation and outright thuggery.
For years many politicians have given little thought to the electorate who have raised them to their power and are now chasing their tails to make amends. Lies and false promises abound that cannot a be substantiated. This particularly applicable to the current Scots government. It is natural, of course, to listen to that which one wishes to hear and unfortunately there are so many out there who are unwilling to read into the deep consequences of independence from the UK, seeking instead the yolk of Brussels. There is a large number of voters now on the list who have never voted in the past and are being beguiled into an utopia that cannot be supported. The fate of the nation may rest in their hands.
It is time to return the basics and look at what there is and what is the alternative. We have had 300 years of successful union, not perfect, but one that has given us peace, defeat of aggressors, positive influence throughout the world with innovation and expertise, and wealth. Development within the Union is possible and will happen without destruction and years of uncertainty. The alternative is the unknown based on assumptions that have not been supported by any plan at all. The heady idea of divorce from a conceived enemy who are our close relations is extremely dangerous and can only lead to years of untold hardship. Jobs, pensions, growth, security are all at risk.
The only way out of the mess that has been created by the Nationalists is keep the Union and progress into a future where there is increased respect for all across our nation. There is no place for the divide that has been fostered. It is ugly and totally unnecessary. "Land of Hope and Glory" sums up all.

Our Borders or Lack of
What is happening to our country? I fail to understand our politicians who on the face of it have lost all loyalty with no perspective for the effect that their policies will have on future generations. The EU is a dead duck but the bureaucrats there will persist writhing in their death throes as more and more people suffer from unemployment and they continue to draw their fat salaries. In the meantime more and more people swarm into our country bleeding the welfare system, filling jails, begging on the streets as politicians rant on that it is good for the country to have all the extra expertise that we badly need. Rubbish, of course, but there is some truth perhaps as for decades there has been little effort put into trades. Get a degree has been the motto, only to find there is no work except cleaning dishes or the streets with your BA Hons.
There is nothing wrong with immigration but it needs controlling so that people enter with a particular job in hand. Then there is the unlimited ingress of people of different faiths who are not required to respect that of the country. Many come here with hate in their hearts which they spread to the vulnerable. In our own country we now have no-go areas controlled by these people. In the last war thousands died to prevent this so that now we see that they died in vain. So called Human Rights has much to answer for. Rights of the indigenous people have been forgotten.
As for Scottish Independence, this is a dangerous red herring and will do everlasting harm to those both north and south of the border. It is based on hate, hate of the English. Since James VI became James I of the united kingdoms Britain has gone from strength to strength influencing the world usually to its benefit. The British sense of fairness has prevailed.
I look for a new generation of politicians who are not the product of universities with no experience of the world, but who have a genuine desire to make our country and better place in which to live. We must be allowed to control our destiny, trade freely throughout the world and be able to question such bizarre doctrines like that promoted by the IPCC which is doing untold damage to all, rich and poor.

Scottish Office and Energy
Here is a copy of a reply to a letter concerning Scottish energy policy. It is based on the false assumption that carbon is responsible for global warming and that it is necessary to go all out for wind. I do not disagree about conservation but our electricity bills are being overloaded to up to 20% for development and 11% for carbon. As said by one realist, a lot of WAFFLE!!

regarding wind farms. I work in the Energy Division of the Scottish Government and have
been asked to respond.
Whilst Ministers believe it is right to make the most of the opportunities that are offered by
our abundant natural energy resources, this must be done in a way that protects the
environment and takes account of local communities. Scottish Government only wants to
see the right developments in the right places - one-fifth of Scotland’s Landscape is
nationally or internationally designated is offered considerable protection from development
under Scottish Planning policy. In addition, there is no development in our National Parks
and only two community developments in National Scenic Areas, both in fragile island
communities.
A robust and transparent planning process is in place to ensure that each windfarm
application is assessed on its own merits, taking into account the views of all interested
parties, as well as the potential impact on the local environment. Scottish Planning policy
specifically advises that 'the design and location of any wind farm development should reflect
the scale and character of the landscape. The location of turbines should be considered
carefully to ensure that the landscape and visual impact is minimised.'
With regards to costs to consumers, Ofgem's Project Discovery Report shows that fuel bills
have risen considerably of late with increases averaging up to £190 largely due to volatile
wholesale fuel prices. UK Government predicts that pursuing low carbon policies would
make the average energy bill 7% lower when compared to carrying on with business as
usual. Renewable incentives currently add only around £15-£20 to annual household utility
bills in Scotland, a tiny sum in comparison to last year’s price hikes – precisely the reason
we need to invest in our own secure energy supply. Therefore, whilst the perception may
exist that it is renewables that have driven the major rises in fuel bills, this is not the case.
They have been substantially driven by the volatility in the gas market. Ofgem have

other generators, are relatively efficient. We know that no form of electricity generation is
100% efficient. Less than half the energy of the fuel going into a conventional thermal power
station is turned into useful electricity – most of it is wasted and still ends up producing ash,
nuclear waste or air pollution harmful to health as well as carbon dioxide. Also, the fuel for a
wind farm does not need to be mined, refined or shipped and transported from foreign
countries. Conventional fuels are not an unlimited, ever replenishing resource like wind.
Although wind farm output is variable, it can be forecast with some confidence and be useful
as one component of a balanced energy mix of renewables and conventional power sources.
When the amount of wind farm capacity which is contracted to supply the grid with power
rises, there is an impact on the amount of reserve capacity the grid needs to maintain its
overall security against the likelihood the wind power output is less than predicted. However,
independent studies show it is not true that wind farms need new dedicated back up on a
one-for-one basis. The impact of added wind generation on the backup the grid already has
is relatively small. Scotland has more generating capacity than it needs to meet the peak
demand for power, including a large amount of hydro-electric capacity which is relatively
easy to start up and shut down quickly as needed.
No energy will be wasted as we move to a low carbon generation mix. Some forms of
generation may be constrained at times of peak wind, but systems will be put in place to
manage these processes. The UK Government has recently consulted on these questions
as part of its electricity market

The Scottish Government regards sensitively sited wind energy as an important part of the
Scottish Government’s strategy for achieving long-term energy security and protecting

including (but not limited to) wave, tidal, hydro and biomass combined heat and power to be
fundamental to Scotland’s future energy generation. Nonetheless, onshore wind will continue
to be a vital component in Scotland’s energy mix. Investment in onshore wind is strategically
critical to the delivery of the grid infrastructure, supply chain and skills development that will
be necessary to unlock the full potential of our offshore resource and technologies. Without
deployment of onshore wind, Scotland would be forced to rebuild thermal generation plants
and as a consequence, we would be “locked in” to thermal generation for decades to come.

Salmond's Cat Trap
pavement in front of her home. Next to her was a
basket containing a number of tiny creatures; in her
hand was a sign announcing
FREE KITTENS.
Suddenly a line of big black cars pulled up beside
her. Out of the lead car stepped a chubby, grinning man.
"Hi there little girl, I'm Alex Salmond.
What do you have in the basket?" he asked.
"Kittens," little Suzy said.
"How old are they?" asked Salmond.
Suzy replied, "They're so young, their eyes aren't
even open yet."
"And what kind of kittens are they?"
"Scottish Nationalists," answered Suzy with a smile.
Salmond was delighted. As soon as he returned to his
car, he called his PR chief and told him about the little girl
and the kittens.
Recognising the perfect photo opportunity, the two
men agreed that the Salmond should return the next
day; and in front of the assembled media, have the
girl talk about her discerning kittens.
So the next day, Suzy was again standing on the
pavement with her basket of "FREE KITTENS" when
another motorcade pulled up, this time followed by
vans from STV, BBC, and CNN.
Cameras and audio equipment were quickly set up, then
Salmond got out of his limo and walked over to little
Suzy.
"Hello, again," he said, "I'd love it if you would
tell all my friends out there what kind of kittens
you're giving away."
"Yes sir," Suzy said. "They're UK Independants."
Taken by surprise, the Salmond stammered,
"But...but...yesterday, you told me they were SCOTTISH
NATIONALISTS."
Little Suzy smiled and said, "I know.
But today, they have their eyes open."

Thoughts on the EU Project
Let is give a thought to the European Project as is is now called. There are to be no more wars and Europe will live in peace for evermore. Not a bad idea but NATO was ensuring that. Next there was to be a happy brotherhood of nations all in love with each other but of very different cultures and languages. The US have managed it so can we. Forgotten; the US is a young country by European standards and do not have a long history behind them. Next let us have a nice new currency so that holiday makers do not have to bother with the tedious business of buying D marks, liras, drachmas etc. Good idea but some countries liked to work and others liked to sit under an olive tree sipping black coffee and/or wine. No trouble here as the books could be fudged to show that the country was indeed solvent and could afford to be a member of the club. Anyway if not, there would be a nice subsidy form those who could. It was to be a good idea to some as there would be a lot of cash to spend on some good roads, buildings, businesses etc to say nothing of the fine salaries that had to follow together with a nice pension at the end of the day. They had a field day but then came the crunch. Money ran out. No problem. The hard workers would pay; but would they or better still would the people pay? There by hangs the dilemma. In recent history there have been several attempts to bring nations together with varying success. Germany did it in the nineteenth century, successfully as there was a common culture and language. Russia failed, Yugoslavia failed, so too little Cyprus where both language and cultures were different. The UK is heading in that direction with the policy of immigration that will cause huge problems in the not too distant future. The same is probably happening across Europe too. What should Britain do? Simple, get out now while the going is good and we are not dragged further into a dirty and prolonged mess. Get Cameron off the fence upon which he has climbed so that the people can decide. They are not daft like the politicians appear to be.

Political Confession
I remain confused by politicians and never cease to wonder why they do not listen to me! Ever since this country started importing labour to fill the jobs created for our youth I have been banging on about this foolhardiness and lack of foresight. Now we have one of the founders of this policy admitting the last government was wrong! Yes,Ed Milliband. Listening to John Denham wheeling and dealing with words to explain it, claiming that immigrant labour was necessary to fill the gaps in our own labour force was absolutely farcical. You will recall that thousands of jobs were created for our youth and that all were taken up by people from Eastern Europe. Nothing could be done about that, of course, as the EU had opened our borders. There seems to be some progress in the control of people from the rest of the world with tighter controls at the airports. However we are left with a diminishing native population with ghettos sprouting everywhere and a country that is slowly being handed over to the powers in Brussels, with their debt and all. I look forward to wakening on that Monday morning to hear that Brussels has finally blown apart, Barroso. Rumphy Humpy, Fuhrerein Merkel and all.

EU Number Plates
There may be no better time to show your support for your country. Remove the EU emblem from you vehicle number plate. Many think this is legal necessity but it is not. Also it is thought that it is required for travel in Europe. It is not. All that is required is a national sticker. So with the EU imploding either replace the number plate adding your regional flag with GB or purchase a sticker from the UKIP Shop http://www.ukip.org/shop/category/view/rosettes-stickers
In this way we can add to the ever increasing number of vehicles that have either a plain plate or one that is national. Long live Britannia!

Headache. The EU Cure
Spain has been promised 100bn euros to shore up its ailing banks. Will this cure the chronic problems within the euro zone? Yet again the whole point is being missed. When treating a disease it is the cause that matters and not so much the symptoms, not that the latter are not important but to hope for a cure treating these will get you nowhere. From the very start of the European project, as it now called, any attempt to rationalise the impossible task of bringing so many divergent nations together under one umbrella was totally ignored. There were fudges, deceits, subterfuge and total lack of democracy. It is now time as it was many moons ago, to revise the whole structure and recognise the many nations that compose the whole wretched organisation. Germany will not support them as they stand. We all know that this was their aim at the start of the last century and that did not work. The goal posts have moved and now they are to be expected to support them without tyranny. They will not. Who will? A break up has to happen with nations returning to their own management, particularly the fringe states, perhaps leaving a central core which might exist for a short while until Germany and France fall out! For Britain to be outside euroland is indeed a fortunate freak occurrence (against the wishes of such "silly" people like one K Clarke MP) and it looks that the dream of a referendum is not too far away. If won the world will become our oyster again with so many opportunities long denied us by the unelected scoundrels in Brussels. Think of world trade, the Commonwealth, fishing, agriculture to mention just a few huge opportunities. For the sake of our children I cringe if this does not happen.

A few days ago, The Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke QC MP said on Radio 4:
“A referendum on our membership of the EU is an irrelevance. It is the demand of a few Right-wing journalists and a few extreme nationalist politicians. I cannot think of anything sillier to do than to hold a referendum.”
As one who has signed the People’s Pledge, do you think an In/Out referendum on Britain’s membership of the European Union is silly? Of course not. And nor do the other 108,760 Pledgers. A massive 70% of the British people want an EU referendum. The polls clearly show it.
Thurrock people said they want a referendum
In Thurrock, Essex, the proportion of people who want a referendum is even higher than that. It’s 90%. How do I know that? Well, the People’s Pledge asked them.
Between 11 February and 5 April this year we knocked on doors in Thurrock. Electoral Reform Services Ltd, an independent balloting company, sent them ballot papers and 14,590 people voted. 89.9% of them agreed with a referendum.
The 30.4% turnout was higher than the 24.6% at the local council elections in May. That huge response shows Kenneth Clarke what people think is important.
The local Tory MP, Jackie Doyle-Price, has a wafer-thin majority of just 92. Does she agree with Ken Clarke that 13,111 of her constituents are “silly”?

The People’s Pledge campaign has stepped up a gear and needs your help. We are now running three local referendums in the constituencies of Cheadle, Hazel Grove and Manchester Withington, all in Greater Manchester. The three constituencies are held by Liberal Democrats MPs who all pledged a referendum on British membership of the EU at the last general election.
There are about 150,000 doors to leaflet and on which to knock to askpeople if they would like a national referendum on the EU. It’s 37 years since the country voted in a referendum to stay in the Common Market. These days the European Union has a political dimension as well that economic one.
Democracy doesn’t come cheap!
Campaigning and the balloting process costs money and we have an urgent need to get more leaflets out to the voters in the Greater Manchester constituencies. Our first referendum in Thurrock made people sit up and listen. The campaign in Greater Manchester will heap even more pressure on MPs in Westminster. So far, 71 MPs have signed the People’s Pledge (see a list here). But we need many more.
It costs about £50 to leaflet just one polling district and there are [130] of them to get round. The more money we raise, the more leaflets we can deliver, the more doors we can knock on, the more voters in Cheadle, Hazel Grove and Manchester Withington will vote for a referendum, the more MPs we’ll sign up, and the more likely it is we will achieve our goal of a national referendum for all of us.

Diamond Jubilee
Having seen the wonderful pageant on the River Thames today and under such appalling weather one is left with a real pride in Britain. Yet again those who organise such events have shown a wonderful expertise that can be second to none. Her Majesty has surely deserved it all. She looked wonderful and was obviously enjoying all. Of all the participants the greatest praise has to go to the singers with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Standing on the top deck of the barge in the pouring rain, drenched from the head down, they sang with enthusiasm that brought tears to ones eyes. Bravo!!
We are indeed very fortunate to have a Queen who has served us so well over the last 60 years. She was taken to the Royal Barge in the launch of the Royal Yacht Britannia that now lies in a dock in Leith at the whim of politicians all for the sake of a £50m refit that we "could " no longer afford. This yacht was a great asset of the nation serving not only her Majesty but the country as a whole by all the trade and good will it brought us. It was a home to her and a vessel where she could relax gaining some respite from the public eye. It was a mean trick and all for a day's contribution to the EU. Now is the time to return this vessel to her service. It would be a small price for what she has done for us and she surely deserves it.
Long live the Monarchy. We bless you Ma'm.

Hands Up EU
We are watching the results of the EU intransigence and sheer unadulterated adherence to a philosophy that has never worked or will ever work. The EU dream has been built on deceit and sheer trickery so will fail. But in doing so it will bring untold damage to the economies of most of the world. Do they care? Of course not. Greece is a victim of its own foolhardiness in adopting the euro through the manipulations of its economy. I see no reason for its continued membership. It should adopt the drachma again and run its own economy as it sees fit. The Greek people like the euro as it "gives us freedom to move about Europe without having to change currencies." This is crazy thinking as no thought has been given to the implications of the demands by other users of the same wretched system. Hence the austerity foisted on them by the erstwhile conquerors of their country. In the meantime Spain, Italy and Portugal are at the brink of collapse with Ireland knocking at the door. Merkel will be enjoying a schnaps with the new president of France, Hollande. Does growth and austerity mix? Not in that woman's eyes. The stock markets around the world are not happy and all because of those idiots in Brussels. It is time they went so that the rest of us can be governed by governments we elect and throw out when they fail-all to often I fear. It is time that we had the referendum on membership of the EU. We need a say in our destiny, so Cameron, do something about it now before you ruin this country further.

Murder of the Regiments
The government is at it again. The destruction of our regiments is to continue and with them goes even more of our proud history and sense of nationhood. Hammond the Defence minister wishes to destroy the great names of the Royal Scots, Black Watch and Argylls and this is all in the name of austerity. In the meantime we continue to pour into the coffers in Brussels £50m daily together with all the rest that is required to keep up with the tight strangle hold of implementing regulations. Cameron has said that he will negotiate our continued relations with Brussels but he does nothing. Lies and more lies. Where is there hope in the political elite? They are all the same, those so-called main parties with nothing to choose between them. It is time for change and the sooner the better. I shudder for the youth.

The Growth of Democracy
So that is it, the local elections are over and there is a little egg flying around. Labour is gloating, of course, but not an awful lot of people voted. Is that because they are fed up with politics and the persistent promises and lies? We must not forget that local elections are different from the national and EU merry-go-rounds as local issues are of importance and personalities dominate. However on this occasion national events will have had an effect. There is the failure of the coalition the make any impact on the national crises as they are quite unable and unwilling to address the real and fundamental problems, the EU and the euro. Both of these are having catastrophic effects globally. The EU will fail eventually but the eurocrats will pursue their dream until the bitter end causing misery to all. Like many tyrants they will seek asylum in some third world country to live the life of luxury on their ill-gotten gains; your and my money.
The party of navel gazers, the Lib Dems had a particularly bad time and that was to be expected. They live in a fantasy world of make-believe and can never be regarded as leaders of substance. At long last the nation is starting to hear of Ukip and realise that they are no longer a group of old and bold trying to re-establish the past. It is a party representing all, both young and old, who have a real concern for our once great country. Such is apparently not part of the so called major parties ideology. That has to be why Ukip is making such a great appeal to the nation and will continue to do so. They are biting at the heals of the Lib Dems and it will not be long before that group reap their just deserves of oblivion. Ukip must continue to hammer home the right we have of a self governing and independent state. Their policies are sound covering all fields of government. Their belief in world trade especially within the Commonwealth is right, and the fact that European countries will continue to trade with is rightly acknowledged. Well done Ukip, continue the fight. You are the only party that has belief in the UK. Fly the flag, shout from the roof tops, in the drawing and dining rooms.
Keep Ukip on your lips at all times. There is no fear of being boring. There is a need to stop the eternal oscillations between the Tories and Labour. They are as bad as each other and very little difference between them.

A Resume
It is time to offer some sort of explanation for the theme of these blogs. Firstly, I care deeply about our country and by that I mean the United Kingdom of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. For hundreds of years we have existed and able to influence the world in many different ways, may be not always successfully but usually to the benefit of all. There has been strife at home as does and will occur with all nations but there is one aspect often not seen elsewhare and that is the great sense of righteousness and fair play. We have a democraticaly elected government and when no longer performinng can be thrown out. The system of election is not perfect and should be changed to be more representative. There is scope for change.
Since the mid seventies when we were asked to join a free trade market in Europe there has been a slow but ever progressive encroachment by a non-elected elete in Brussels over whom we have no control whatever. It is no longer a trading organisation but one of government by stealth. We are told that we have a say at the top table but that only amounts to 9%, therefore no influence in defence of our "sovereign" state. 70% of laws come from this source, there is control over education, civil liberties, law and order, immigration, terms of employment, jobs given to foreigners in preference to our unemployed, co2 policies that are a complete scam, forced purchase of military hardware which is often badly designed and much more expensive than that to be had from the US, and so on. When there is referendum within the EU and if the result is not as the Commission would like, there have to be more until it is. That is democracy!
On top of all this is the on-going saga with the euro which continues to have a catastrophic detrimental global influence. That and the whole European ideal are a gross example of the greed of a few and they should be swept aside . It is a disgrace that they can continue as they are doing in defence of their crazy ideals. One of their lies has been that they claim to have ensured peace in Europe since the last World War. This is sheer nonsense. NATO has done this. Anyway we have seen srife in Yugoslavia and the break up of the USSR, both totalitarian states.
What is the answer to all this? It has to be the break up of the EU as it is now. New treaties have to be made based on a free market and with our position in the world within the Commonwealth a reopenning of the markets there must be made to the mutual benefit of member countries. Ties and responsiblities are strong and should not be forgotten. It has been argued that we can not afford to leave the EU. Again nonsense as we have a negative trade balance with it. Countries there will not be able cease business with us.

Greece Continuo
I love it but then I don't. The saga continues and we are now to have a new Greek government which will put everything in order, debts will be written off, the people will leave the streets and be happy with empty pay packets. Taxes will not be collected but olives will still ripen on the trees and all be right again. Some hope! While Greece continues to love the euro which is given to them freely by the kind benefactors in the north of Europe. Merkozy thrive on power as the rest ot the world dances to thier tune. The situation is ridiclous and all for the sake of an ideal that was phoney from the start. Let the people of Europe rise up and end all this nonsense .Germany and France have always tried to rule Europe and they are doing it with no thought on the havoc about to take place. Our own politicians are no better as they wallow in the personal benefits reaped out of Brussels. There is money too in C02 and in Huhne's windmills to say nothing of the £50m handed over daily to the EU. I wonder if Huhne has a governer installed into his car yet. Probably not as that would be too sensible. I write from Mexico where the sun shines and all is "peaceful". At least it is on the Pacific Coast.

Caring
The care of elderly in NHS hospitals and homes has again been highlighted as appalling. One has to ask why and what is so at fault with government and administration that such can continue to exist. I know that I shall be accused of harping upon the past but one can not escape that it was really better in the "good old days". It comes down to the old story of too many chiefs and not enough Indians. What is wrong with a dedicated nurse caring for a patient totally, being it washing, cleaning, feeding, clearing up a mess in the bed or on the floor or even changing a light bulb and removing the spider hanging from above ? Nothing! Now we have to have teams of "trained" staff do do each of these things in conjunction with meetings under directives from on high. Above all these good "helpers" there are yet other layers of control or managing. What? There are some nice big salaries to be had here too. There by lies the problem together with the usual multitude of Health and Safety directives from you know where. Sack the lot and return to basics so that we can return to a caring society which will be both better and coast effective. http://is.gd/K36C6b

Waiting for the Big Bang
What is going on within the power house of Brussels and the fate of the euro? There have been no hints about any solution and in the meantime the world waits, going from one monetary crisis to the next. It would not be true to say that the euro and the EU in particular are responsible for the global recession but the EU has an awful lot to answer for. Matthew Lynn in Money Week suggests that the Treasury are putting some sort of plan together to combat the demise of this currency and while saying that it would be calamitous, it would not be the end of the world for UK plc. We still have the world financial centre intact so that with the fall of its counterparts in Europe London should blossom. Also we must not forget that we still have our former colonies and the Commonwealth with whom we could and should start trading again to the mutual benefit of all. Loyalties must start at home and if they do not we do not have a chance in hell of getting out of the mess. With regained strength we can again help in the world. We are all struggling with heads under water. Someone has to rise and breathe again.
I am not interested in the various Cameron happy chappie-like slogans which are quite meaningless and puerile. Neither am I interested in Clegg and his misguided dogmas relating to windmills, human rights and certainly his blind faith in the EU which has brought us to our knees. Strangely Gordon Brown did one good thing in his years in government, he did not drag us into the euro! Let us see the end of that wretched currency, certainly in its current form, let Greece default in its debts and go its own way without the shackles of the EU. We will then have the prospect of the rest of the PIIGS. So what? at least Europe can implode nicely and we can all get on with one another again. To be governed by our elected representatives would be a real reward and worth all the hardship.

Bin the Ring of Stars
Chickens are coming home to roost. There are the folk in the States still trying to get there economy going again and they will,I am sure. However I do not hold such confidence in Euroland. The bunch of nincompoops there are really out of their depth and it is difficult to see what they can do. They should let Greece go but will not until forced. The wounds are self inflicted so really there is little sympathy from me. Tell them that and they will huff and they will puff until the house falls down (on us). What do they care? I remain mesmerised by the prospect of Germany bailing out the whole corrupt system. Can they not see that the blind adherence to their dogma is nothing but disastrous?
In the meantime we must assert our independence more forcibly and let EU know that we no longer wish to be part of the system dragging us into the mire. Let us start by getting rid of that emblem of tyranny, the ring of stars, from our cars, from public buildings and projects funded by the EU with our own money. It is easy and cheap to rid number plates of the wretched symbol using stickers which are readily available from the Ukip Shop.
In the meantime we must assert our independence more forcibly and let EU know that we no longer wish to be part of the system dragging us into the mire. Let us start by getting rid of that emblem of tyranny, the ring of stars, from our cars, from public buildings and projects funded by the EU with our own money.
